Cyber Security and protecting yourself from social engineering...

No matter how good your technology defences are, human factors are the most significant risk in your cyber defences. 95% of cyber breaches are caused by human error*.

Social engineering is a significant contributor to the human factor. Hackers have recently published how they compromised a well known companies security defences through social engineering.

Small businesses can struggle to implement cyber defences. Small to medium sized business report recent experiences with cyber attacks:

  • 45% say that their processes are ineffective at mitigating attacks.

  • 66% have experienced a cyber attack in the past 12 months.

  • 69% say that cyber attacks are becoming more targeted.

The most common types of attacks on small businesses include:

  • Phishing/Social Engineering: 57%

  • Compromised/Stolen Devices: 33%

  • Credential Theft: 30%

Whilst giving you the latest in cyber security in your organisation, we also take care of the cyber awareness training for your workforce, making sure everyone plays their part in your security defences.

Grab some time in our diary (no charge of course...) and we will be more than happy to explain how we do things a little differently to the typical I.T. providers in achieving your cyber defence goals.
